Another business blog, why? And then still with this title. Isn't that too demanding? No, the name also signals a piece of irony that is intended to protect against arrogance. The "Ladder" just wants to show that it deals with the economic issues of the whole country and the whole world.

We don't live on know-it-all attitudes. We want to present facts and views that the mainstream does not reflect. We don't want to compete with others who produce fast news. We want to observe what is happening in the economy from a certain distance, to illuminate the field where others do not look.

We want to be a place, a spot, an institution, a kind of establishment that gives other alternative opinions a chance, that gives impetus and is factually "obnoxious" and that should also be a contact point for anonymous information and documents.

We are not a substitute for daily newspapers or their online offshoots. We do not claim to cover all topics.

We are the editors Benny White and a number of other independent writers.

In addition, the spectrum of authors is wide. They all want to leave the well-trodden media paths and shed new light on the state of this republic from there.
