Recent accomplishments in St. Kitts are impressive

The buzz around St. Kitts is intensifying as the summer draws to a close. The location continues to wow tourists and the travel industry while garnering notice on a global scale for its tourism offering, thanks to a recently established advertising campaign and remarkable distinctions.

To further highlight the island's distinctive traits that appeal to contemporary travelers, the St. Kitts Tourism Authority formally unveiled the destination's new brand campaign, Venture Deeper, in late September. The Tourism Authority invited a small gathering of journalists, stakeholders and distinguished guests to celebrate the launch and give them an exclusive first look at the new campaign.

Attendees relaxed in the ambiance at LAVAN541, a venue that was redesigned to bring visitors to St. Kitts' lush woods and breathtaking beaches. The evening included interactive rum courses led by Jack Widdowson and Roger Brisbane that provided a fascinating glimpse into one of St. Kitts' next endeavors, along with expertly made rum drinks and genuine Kittitian cuisine. The Tourism Authority expanded its reach into Canada in conjunction with the New York Venture Deeper launch event by holding a culinary event in Toronto that involved attendees in the rich tradition of Kittitian food.

The CEO of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, Ellison "Tommy" Thompson, stated that "the focus on St. Kitts has clearly brightened the previous few months." First off, the release of "Venture Deeper" was well received by our target groups and gave St. Kitts a genuine brand identity. Second, we are creating a brand-new unique tourism offering that will appeal to leisure travelers and distinguish St. Kitts as a top Caribbean tourist destination. We are certain that the remainder of the year will be even better for St. Kitts with additional ventures in the works.

St. Kitts is still recognized for having the best scenery, cuisine, hospitality and experiences. One of the most important awards in the travel industry, the 2022 Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards, listed St. Kitts as one of the Top Islands in the Caribbean and The Park Hyatt St. Kitts Christophe Harbour as one of the Top 40 Resorts in the Caribbean Islands. Additionally, St. Kitts was recognized as a Silver Award Winner in the Caribbean-Overall Destinations-Adventure Destinations category of the infamous 2022 Travel Weekly Magellan Awards. The area continued to be a diving hotspot and was awarded at the 29th annual World Travel Awards with the coveted title of Caribbean's Top Diving Destination 2022.

Melnecia Marshall, Deputy CEO of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, stated that St. Kitts was honored to be acknowledged in such prestigious publications and awards. "Seeing our lovely nation emerge as a top option for tourists is extremely rewarding."

The Tourism Authority is excited to attend a number of forthcoming consumer and tourism trade exhibitions, including The Coterie Retreat in Jamaica, where it recently had outstanding success cultivating ties with important industry leaders.
